Our Story

Olio Smeraldo is different from other extra virgin olive oils because of the way it’s made. It typically has stronger flavours and extra peppery-ness because it is the very freshest olive oil you can find. One of the best ways to savour this once-a-year treat is to do as the Italians do! Toast a thick slice of delicious bread then pour your fresh olio nuovo all over the bread and add a pinch of coarse sea salt. It’s also perfect for spicing up roasted veggies and it’s amazing in soups, pastas and more.

A lot of olive oils that you find in the shops are at least 18 months old - there is no legal obligation to date stamp olive oil. Some producers even dye their oil to give it that grassy appearance.

The "Olio Smeraldo"  will literally be collected, pressed and shipped to your home within a few days of collection. This is thanks to the limited production that allows stocks to run out every year.

When you try "Olio Smeraldo" for the first time you will not be able to believe the grassy green and peppery taste that hits you with this very fresh oil.
